I am planning to go with some climbing buddies to the scenic climbing gem of Arco for the fall break: tons of multipitch routes, possibility to do some via ferratas, low season prices, and decent weather.... Who can say no ??
Arco is a major climb area near the Garda lake in Italy: all routes you can dream of, from single pitch in all levels up to multipitch climb
If you want to join us ...
You can either climb independently (if you come with your climbing partner), or with us. If you climb with us, the possibility to join will depends on the number of lead climbers in the group. Depending also if you want to climb single pitch or multipitch routes. This will be finalized later, just RSVP first to let me know.
Requested experience (if you want to climb with some of us)
1) single pitch routes: Knowledge of the basics of belaying. Lead climbing experience is a plus.
2) multipitch routes: climbing regularly indoor. Having climbed several time outdoor this year. Knowledge of the multipitch basics (stand, belay etc ...). Low fear of height (It can't be zero I guess). Ability to climb the 5+ grade. Lead climb experience is necessary even if you don't lead climb the multipitch route.
From Eindhoven, there are direct flight to Milano Bergamo with Ryanair.
We are aiming to rent a car. If you want to join us at the same time, we could rent a bigger car or 2 cars on the same contract and maybe make the price cheaper.
AirBNB are quite inexpensive at this time of the year, so it will be the easiest option to limit luggage weight
If any questions, feel free to email me.
Looking forward to go climbing...
