Anyone fancy some bouldering at Monk Amsterdam (aka Mxxx) Getting to Mxxx is a lot easier than you think. There's a FREE ferry that leaves from behind CS and the GYM is 5min by bike from the ferry. The ferry leaves every 10minutes or so. Check it out N.B. There is plenty of parking outside and it's free for the first 3 hours…See More
Fancy pulling on plastic MN styleee? If you need help with directions this might help. When travelling from Hoofdweg head up Jan Van Galenstraat and after you cross the A10 take the first right (at traffic lights) towards Laan van Sparten - turn right onto Laan van spaarten and follow the road to the corner of Gerrie Knelemannlaan and Willem Augustinstraat.See More
"Welcome to our network,
I hope you find the time to look around our site, we've been up and running since 2009.
In particular check out the FAQ
You can also find us on FaceBook, YouTube, Vimeo and Twitter.
To avoid granting access to spammers, tell me a little about your climbing history.
I started climbing about 6 years ago in Arnhem at Mountain Network. A friend introduced me and I liked it very much. Two years ago I did a short lead climbing course in Germany and took up bouldering.
How did you hear about the Amsterdam Climbers?
A climbing mate introduced me

You need to be a member of Amsterdam Climbers to add comments!
The heart of our network are the Events - we often have quite a few each week. The events are very informal, just RSVP and turn up - it's a great way to meet other climbers. Of course you're free to post your own events and you don't need a partner to join in.
We have a Gear section, as an Amber member you are entitled to a 15% discount at the Mountain Network Amsterdam. You can see their products in the Gear Portal.
As you can see we have been on a fair few Trips - read all about them in Trip-Logs section.
There are also 100's of photo's and regular discussions in the forums.
Recently we have added specialised Groups which you can find under the "About Us" tag. If you practice or are just interested in the group you should join so as to be kept in the loop on those subjects. If there are groups you would like to see then just let me know.
For more information, I've created a read-me explaining a little more how the network operates.
Feel free to ask if you have any queries/doubts and I hope to see you at an event someday,
