Climbing in the Vosges... Highly recommended

We set off on Sunday lunchtime, and arrived in Strasbourg around 7.30pm after a longish drive. No tents to set up, as we were staying in a hotel, which was very appreciated. (Even though Bourgogne was a great weekend it DID get chilly during the nights ;) ). The hotel was a hit and the staff was very nice and helpful when we asked them where we could climb and how to get there. They recommended us a few places to check the following day for information.

Bloody brilliant Bourgogne

Freezing nights and perfectly blue skies during the day, combined with copious amounts of French wine (the good stuff), excellent company and the most delicious saucisson you can imagine describe perfectly the long weekend we spent in France.

At night the temperatures dropped way way low, but we survived and awoke each morning to an amazing white 'picture postcard' wonderland that by 9am had melted to nothing.
